When you buy or download a Prof. Deezy sample pack, you get a licence to use the sounds in your own music. You don’t own the sounds themselves; those stay with Prof. Deezy.
You can
- Use the sounds in your own original music, including releases you sell, stream, play out or license for sync, film, TV, games and adverts.
- Chop, edit, process and mix them however you like.
- Use them in music you make for clients, as long as the client gets a finished track, not the raw sounds.
- Do all of this royalty-free, with no extra payments and no clearance needed.
You can’t
- Sell, share, give away or upload the sounds on their own, or in a sample pack, construction kit, preset bank, loop library or any product that lets others reuse them.
- Use a sample on its own as a complete track, or as the main element with nothing substantial added.
- Register a track built mainly around our loops with Content ID or similar systems in a way that would claim the loops themselves. This prevents false claims against other producers using the same sounds.
- Use the sounds to train, fine-tune or test AI or machine-learning models, or include them in datasets.
- Claim you created the original sounds.
Who it covers
The licence is for the person or business that bought the pack, and it can’t be transferred. Free packs come with the same licence.
Credit
Credit isn’t required, but it’s always appreciated: “Samples by Prof. Deezy”.
Breaking the licence
If these terms are broken, the licence ends and you must stop using the sounds in new work.
